Manage API Keys

Create an API key when SDK, REST API, Selenium, or Appium workflows need to authenticate with webmate.

Generating an API key

We start this article in our General Profile Information view. To get there please look into this article .

Click API key in the left sidebar.

Provide a name for the new API Key to identify it later. Then click Create New Key.

The new API Key will be shown to you.

Please make sure to copy it for use, as it will be shown only once. Do not store it in a location where someone else can access it.

Identify the API Key in the list of active API Keys and click the delete icon (1).

Deleting an API Key will prevent it from being used to authorize any webmate API calls.
